Rove Miles has been around for just over a year now, and we've just added a full guide to this program to our site. When a new company launches in the miles and points or credit card space, to be honest, I usually hold it with some skepticism. Especially when it seems like they are offering big bonuses or extra cheap prices (as Rove did), presumably thanks to venture capital money. First of all, what is Rove? It's a fintech startup that while it doesn't offer a credit card--does offer ways to earn and redeem miles (these will sounds familiar) by: Earn by:

Now that it's been a year, we have a clearer picture. Rove seems like it might be around for a little while. It's had some of the regular issues that online portals have -- like miles taking months to post or not tracking -- but also a lot of success stories. If you've had experiences (good or bad!) with Rove, reply back and let me know! I'll do a podcast episode on this in the fall. Happy Travels, Katie PS: If you haven't signed up for Rove, you can get 1500 Rove Miles by using our referral link! You can't transfer point out until you reach 2000 but could do that by making a purchase via their shopping portal.

MY TAKE: These are no-brainers if you qualify and can meet the minimum spend requirement. It's a huge offer on a no-annual fee card. Even better: if you have a card that earns Ultimate Rewards with an annual fee (like a Sapphire), you can convert this cash back to points. The $1000 bonus will become 100,000 points! Note that eligibility and referral guidelines have changed in the past year so read our full guide for details. Points, Miles & Travel News

I'm traveling home from the UK today after a lovely trip to London and Crickhowell, Wales. This newsletter will be very light but will include a full deal round up next week! While I hope to eventually give the trip highlights via Instagram, here is a quick rundown of this family trip (we had 10 people total!) London: Stayed at Hyatt House Stratford -- this is one of the cheapest Hyatts in London, most nights are 12k per night. You'll need 2 rooms if you have more than 2 people but still it...
ENDING SOON: Highest ever offers on two cards with no annual fee cards. No, we don't have an exact end date yet but when the bank tells us "ending soon" that usually means pretty soon! This email has all the details you need to know about these offers. With less than 2 weeks of the Paze promotion, I'm finally kicking my butt into gear to try to use up my credits. There's a lot of potential ways to use the credits (many cards get 10 different $10 credits) but it's a little bit of a hassle. Here's what I'm doing to keep it simple Every morning, buy 3 new Dunkin' gift cards via the Dunkin app (paying with Paze). 3 is the max per day right now. I merge them with my existing gift cards as I go. Instructions here. Then I set a 24 hour reminder on...
